figured there’s no harm in recommending some companies/services from time to time, I’ve crossed paths with several service providers in the past and some have been great, others not so, of course in this time of enlightenment it isn’t fair to actually complain about specific providers, but I’m sure I can recommend the ones I think are good.
First up is CraftyClicks, they provide bespoke postcode solutions, in the past the company has licensed the Royal Mail postcode address database, this can prove expensive, in our situation we were paying in the region of 5K p/a for the luxury of a licence.
Crafty Clicks offer many different solutions, the one we plumped for in the end was a compromise, we have a fairly large user base for our bookings/reservation system but only a small number of users will make bookings, and of those, not all will even be using the postcode lookup functionality, so CC agreed that we could setup a deal that effectively provided us 10 concurrent users, this equates to about 20% of the cost of a Royal Mail licence, and of course a nice cost saving, but since the integration API is simple (and configured/managed by the booking/reservation system programmers) essentially an autonomous process.
Simple to set up, easy to use, and a delight to deal with the guys at Crafty Clicks are above all else a helpful bunch and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Thank you for the kind words. Always happy to help!
Merry Christmas from all at CraftyClicks.
