What the hell is going on in the world?
When did people stop being nice
I have no idea.
The start of this post is not a haku no matter how much I’d like to be! But moreover an observation on the world right now.
I know I know that I’m about to throw out a massive contradiction and I know that most of social media is a bloody massive echo chamber and the thoughts and ideas there only represent a small portion of the worldview – but it’s an ugly and lazy battleground right now.
I often find myself wondering what made things the way they are. What’s caused so many of the young folk to act the way they do, but now there’s more; Farmers, Petitions, Weather, Memes, the new four horsemen are a bit rubbish if we’re being honest!
We need some nice things to talk about again, but the way information travels around the world so quickly these days has got to take a role in how we’ve arrived here.
A more simple approach might be something we should all invest a little more time in huh?
I know, I’ll buy a plot of land, whack up a few solar panels, find some water, build a fence. Wait a sec, HOW MUCH per acre?
